Now here is Stevan's BIO:

I hope that my classes will teach you how to build your own path while maximizing your efficiency in your movements, muscles. thoughts, and breath.

I was born an only child raised by single mom until I went to military boarding school, 500 miles away, at the age of 12, This was a real deal military school where retired Marine Sergeant Majors supervised 1960's military Boot Camp policy, administered and unchecked, by kids between the ages of 13-18 who had been sent away with behavior problems. I'm not sure why or how I ended up there, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with me not living up to my perceived "potential" and refusing to submit to the flow.

Eventually, I graduated from a well respected high school in North Texas, and spent nearly a year at the University of Texas in Austin, as an honors student. After being overwhelmed by my own internal dialogue and lack of direction or purpose, I failed out. I had no clue who or what I wanted to be. Unable to quiet the internal chatter of self doubt, I ran to medication in all forms. Stubbornly I went along this path until it occurred to me; we are our own enemies.

I found American Power Yoga through some extraordinary beautiful friends. The workout and the message helped me find a beat that I can call my own. I am grateful for the teachings and perspective that I've learned from Kurt and every Yogi I've met in the halls of APY. I hope that my classes will teach you how to build your own path while maximizing your efficiency in your movements, muscles. thoughts, and breath. You just might burn all the calories you'd ever want to, as well.

In other words, drink plenty of water and bring a towel!
