ACUPUNCTURE & ALLERGIES
Usually people come to me as a last resort. They don't believe (or the thought never occurred to them) that their allergies can be eliminated. From an acupuncture standpoint, an allergy is anything that weakens or overcomes the body's chi (prana, life energy). First it must be determined what the specific allergies are and at what level.

Allergies can occur at three levels; physical, chemical, and emotional. The next step is to find out what organ systems are being weakened by the allergen. When all that is known, then the process of elimination can begin. For those who are absolutely needle shy, the treatment can be done without needles. After that there is usually a 24 hour diet to be observed while the body goes through it's "reset" cycle. Once each individual allergy is eliminated, the effect is usually permanent. The result - no more allergy medicines.
